There are times when things turn bitter between two people (or may be a group of people). No body feels better by cutting off with each other with bitter feelings. But at the same time no body understands the various psychological, emotional and/or mental effects these broken relationships leave on us. I have gone through quite a lot of such bitter experiences in life so far and when I have been seriously trying to analyse why such things have been happening wth me I realised various facts which were, well, not very pleasant to face. Nevertheless, I realise I need to face the fact, work on my short-comings, accept the short-comings of others and not blame either me or someone else for everything that happened. Both sides are equally responsible for either things to work well, or not.
Everything happens with a reason and with these bitter experiences have come out some precious and beautiful learnings of my life.
It's not always about drawing across a point when we have a difficult conversation; it's about understanding the challenges inherent in the conversations and the mistakes we make in each. Then we are more likely to see that the purpose of having a conversation shifts. There is this beautiful complexity of the perceptions and intentions involved, the reality of the joint contribution to the problem, the central role feelings have to play, and what the issue means to each person's self-esteem and identity. And we realise that a message delivery stance is not always needed. In fact, we may no more have a message to deliver, but rather there is some information to share and some questions to ask.
Instead of trying to persuade and getting our way, we would want to know what happened from the other person's point of view, explain our point of view, share and understand feelings, and work together to figure out a way to manage the problem going forward. This leads us to a very significant change of how we look at the problem.
There is always a possibility that we invite the other person into the conversation with us, to help us figure things out. We always have lots to learn from them and lots they need to learn from us. A LEARNING CONVERSATION IS ALWAYS PRECIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL

Miracles do happen!

Miracle is the change in perception.
The moment you decide to let go of your ego and
open up yourself to the universe,
Miracles happen!
Hatred and bitter feelings are nothing but
love gone wrong.
Let go of the ego,
let there be a willingness to love and forgive;
Love and forgive  yourself before you give it to anyone else
Then, love grows back.
The moment you love yourself, you start loving every being around
when there is love amongst each one of us
the World becomes a better place to live.
That is when miracles happen!
Hope is the companion of grit and mother of success
For those of us who hope strongest have within us
the gift of miracles

The life cycle...

If you aren't back to where you began, all it means is that the journey is not yet over. Maybe, it will take a life-time; may be many. But you will end your journey exactly where you began. This is the nature of life. Even the Universe will end it's journey exactly where it began - in the infinitesimal black hole of absolute death. And on the other side of that death, life will begin once again in a massive big bang. And so it will continue in a never ending cycle.

The dark silence..

The dark silence speaks a thousand things to me.
It shows me the vibrant colours of
peace, love and happiness
A small window opens through the silence of darkness and
leads me to a world of red noise where
everything is a hustle-bustle;
where everyone is in a hurry.
I walk through the garden full of wonderful colourful flowers
but alas!
I can't smell anything..
somewhere among the busy crowd
I see your smiling face and
a deep sense of peace rests within me

Loosen up a bit; Laugh out loud!!!

Loosen up a bit;
Laugh out loud;
Do things that you think are not important; have lived a bit!
Take a vacation from your seriousness
and holding yourself too important.
No matter how great or important you are,
tomorrow the World will still go on in your absence.
This should make you realise, all that matters is
the present.
Not the past, definitely not the future
So live now, live today.
Remember, this moment is precious because
it was never before and will not repeat itself again......
ever in future!
so this is the time to be ALIVE!!!

To exit is not to quit...

'To exit is not to quit" .......... "Nobody gives you a solo, you have to take it!"
These are the two very profound, inspiring and motivating lessons I have learnt from one of the precious teachers in my life, Katie Duck.
Though I did understand the meaning of these statements when I heard it from her, it's only at this point of time do I feel the enormity of these lessons. Every time my ego kicks in, I say to myself "To exit is not to quit". When I cannot create something meaningful and beautiful it makes sense to step out and provide a space for something wonderful to happen. It is truly a satisfying feeling to know that I helped for something beautiful to emerge. I am indeed an important part of that creation.
At the same time I have learnt not to sulk and get negative when I THINK I am not getting enough attention or importance. All I do now is check with myself if I really want to do something and then make an initiative to 'take my solo'. Yes, I am capable of doing it! And, trust me, I surprise myself every time I decide to do so.
